Saving for Disney
So we were headed to the mall with Nana for some birthday fun.
D asked me if he could call her. I told him the number he dialed and left a message since she didn't answer. . .
"Nana, this is D. We're coming to pick you up and go to the Lego Store. I was wondering if you had any money? I want to get something at the Lego Store. I have some money but I want to save mine for Disney World."
TWO things about this message:
1. We have NO plans on going to Disney World any time soon. Maybe 3 years or so, but he doesn't know that.
2. He KNEW this is the way to Nana's heart. Anything Disney will pull at her heart strings and so use it to get some Lego's. Smart Boy!
Onto the project:
I thought it'd be fun to make him a Disney $ jar. So I made one for D and one for B.
I already had the Waltograph font. So I just created a Mickey silhouette for my Silhouette. :0)
Cut out the black vinyl and attached to the $2 Hobby Lobby jars. The D and B cutouts couldn't go to waste so I put them on the lids.
I do have the file if you'd like it just send me an email.
The finished product:

Your son sounds like a wheeler and a dealer. I like it! ;) The jar is adorable...I had no idea you could download a "Disney" font. Too cool!
