Popsicle Cozy

We don't do pop-ice but we DO enjoy frozen yogurt sticks.
Just buy the horizon organics yogurt "YoKids Squeezers" and freeze them.
So we went to Hobby Lobby and got to "pick your own felt squares" and made some Popsicle cozies.  I got about 6 out of each piece of felt.  I just folded it in half and surged away!

Assignments at LI

I got these cute bags from www.polkadotmarket.com
and used them for bed assignments and dish duty assignments so every one knew when they arrived what they were responsible for!

Tie Dye Shirts

We have a shirt design every year for the Fireworks Follies
After our T&C trip we decided to do white and tie dye the shirts of those that wanted it.  To make the heart (and star too) we folded the shirt in half length wise and drew half a heart.  Start at one end and scrunch following the line until you get to the other end.  tie off with rubber bands.

Red White and Blue Gumballs

Red, White and Blue gumballs from http://www.polkadotmarket.com/
I used press 'n seal to keep the colors separated and then removed the press 'n seal.
I LOVED the look.  Not allowed to do it again as there was gum EVERY WHERE!!!!  Come on people! :)

LI Towel Project

It's the tenth anniversary of my parents cabin at the lake.
We call it the Logumall Inn.
We have a new "logo".
Every one that stays has to bring their own bath towel so this year my parents blessed the fourth of July guests with bath towels Silhouetted with their name inside the logo.  It was a fun project.
I did 40 total towels and got lots of looks when I was purchasing them at target.
THEN I made the HUGE MISTAKE of cutting ALL 40 of the images out on my silhouette WITHOUT reversing the image.  SO I got to cut them out again.  The CORRECT way this time (you have to reverse the image so you can iron it on)

FREEDOM!

Happy Fourth of July
Independance Day
Fireworks Follies
Freedom Fest
what ever you call it,
I'm PROUD to be AMERICAN!

To decorate this year I purchased another vinyl tablecloth from Target.
This time red and white striped.
Then cut out a big star (on my Silhouette) on blue sparkly vinyl.
Thirteen stripes made the perfect placemat.

I HEART My Lawnmower!

For my birthday this year I got a Lowe's gift card.
Our 13 year old push lawn mower had just about had it.
So we went looking for a mower.  Well, we found this
Fiskar's version and fell in love.

Claveries Visit

Paul, Alysa and Presley came in for a quick visit from Colorado.  We found out on Wednesday that they were coming Saturday morning.  Since Alysa was 37 weeks pregnant (she was given clearance to fly with Paul) we got together a QUICK shower for them.  There were all kinds of "boy themed snacks"
Nuts
Balls - gumballs
pee pee tee pees - bugles
ding dongs - cupcakes

Mom made a few onesies for baby Crew!

Project Purple version of a Meal Planner

Here is my version of a MEAL PLANNER:
It's on my pantry door.  Remember when I did my pantry makeover?
Well I've been slacking in the cooking department.
So to get myself motivated I decided to take this Meal Planner Board
and Project Purple it!

Turks and Caicos Tips and Tricks

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this trip.
The food was INCREDIBLE the service was AMAZING and the people were SO friendly!

There were 9 of us (10 months to 60+ years) there for 8 days and no one left the resort!  My brother did do a little scuba diving but that was included in the all inclusive!

So much to do for a WIDE variety of ages.

Kite with Silhouette Autographs

D has been in the WONDERFUL "Kites Program" at school this year.
It's the "Transitional Kindergarten" program.
I found these kites in the Earthglow gift shop last year.
They're made by Round Top and are metal.
I wanted the kids' autographs but didn't trust them to write them ON the kites.
So I had them write their names on paper then scanned them into my computer and cut them out on my Silhouette machine! :)

Happy Mother's Day & Eve

The night before Mother's Day my hubby, bubby and daddy used their Christmas present of a Segway tour of Bricktown.  They absolutely LOVED it and couldn't stop talking about it.  If you need a gift for the person who has EVERYTHING check out the segway tours.
